Word Magic Translator Live and Mobile

We have just launched two new applications in partnership with Word Magic Soft. One is an Adobe AIR application and the other is a Google Android Mobile application. Both leverage our new service for Word Magic Soft. These applications leverage their English <-> Spanish translation engine. Additionally, it allows spell check in either language, verb conjugation, dictionary and thesaurus capabilities.

Flex Benchmarks!!

CFuze has been using Flex, ColdFusion, AIR, and the AMF protocols for quite a few years now, but lately we have been discussing a change in strategy. Not away from these products but in how we can make them even faster and manage memory better to build even more stable applications. While cruising the internet and blogs, I happened upon an amazing application built by James Ward, http://www.jamesward.com which benchmarks Flex data calls using the variety of methods, SOAP, AJAX, JSON, DOJO, etc. An amazing application that really demonstrates the benefits gained by using remoting.

The application can be found here: http://www.jamesward.com/census
